That being said, making sure you have the optimal internet speed prevents you from having connection problems with users overall. The Ethernet capabilities of a computer are either integrated into the motherboard chipset or implemented via a low-cost dedicated Ethernet chip, connected through the PCI or PCI Express bus. A separate network card is not required unless you need additional interfaces or you are making some other type of computer network.
