Cut: 0:18 Preview Clip

Every episode has a clip that talks about what just happened and what we're about to see. I'm just going to list preview clip since it's all the same sort of thing.

Cut: 0:03

The title card is always cut so I'll only list the title card cut.

Cut: 0:06

This episode shows girls walking through the gates. This clip was cut from this episode and moved to the one before. I guess they didn't want to be redundant.

Scene Alteration:

F/4 added stuff to a few scenes to help added scenes come in! In C, Stella tells Mike and Vanessa they can't go past the barrier while holding up her hand. F/4 adds blue shimmering cloud smoke to her hand so it looks like she's performing a spell thing to show pictures.

Scene Addition:

F/4 adds clip of Alfea to show Mike and Vanessa. Some are from future episodes and one is a clip that was supposed to play earlier in the episode, but was cut and shown here AND in the last episode.

Cut: 0:04

F/4 cuts the part when Bloom steps out of the barrier and comes to her parents. Doing this makes it look like she's hugging her parents out of nowhere.

Comment:

I noticed Stella seems to say "Solaria" when activating her ring (Sun Power in F/4). Is it really necessary to activate its power?

Cut: 0:03

Bloom pats here suitcase. Needless cut.

Cut: 0:03

Bloom looks around and smiles. Useless cut!

Plot Modification:

The person Bloom impersonates is changed from Veranda of Callisto to Veranda of Vallisto. Considering how minor her realm plays in the episode, I see no point in changing it.

Comment:

Why does Bloom look so angry when she is introduced as Princess of Calisto? Is she upset about lying? Or just trying to look tough?

Cut: 0:07

After Stella and Bloom walks away from Griselda, we see some students standing around as Bloom and Stella walk over.

Comment:

Du Four: It's been centuries since I was one of them. Whoa, she's hundreds of years old?! She looks so young, unless she was exaggerating.

Comment:

Griselda: "Will be your home for the next five years." Five?! Wow. Bloom's 16, so she'd be like 20-21 when she got out. That's a long time though the winx graduate after three eyars. I wonder what the graduation requirements are.

Scene Alteration:

The scenes with Griselda talking were shown out of order in F/4. Her scenes were supposed to be before she points out Stella.

Cut: 0:28

Miss Fairagonda walks down with professors and talks.

Dialogue Change:

At the window, WizGiz can't see so he turns into a creature and jumps on Du Four. This causes her to faint and Palladium scolds him for being careless with his transformations. F/4 changes this to him performing a new kind of metamorphosis and Palladium is hesitantly "congratulating" him.

Scene Alteration:

The sign that says Veranda's name and planet was changed to reflect the F/4 change.

Cut: 0:16

Griselda watches unseen while the girls leave Alfea to eat in Magix.

Cut: 0:02

A shot of Magix is cut needlessly.

Cut: 0:12

The second half of Knut's and Icy's phone conversation is cut off. Knut was cringing away from the cell while Icy yelled at him.

Cut: 0:19

Bloom follows Knut and finds him watching the others.

Scene Alteration:

F/4 cuts the transformations and shoots scenes out of order. We first see Tecna's arm movements, the Flora's ben, the Stella's twirl, and then Musa's dance. These were cut in the F/4 version. We then see Flora transform, then Tecna, then Stella, then Musa. We then see Musa's pose, Tecna's, Flora's, then Stella's. Most of the transformation and poses were cut.
